By: Tiffany Kesslar, Esq.

Course Description: Millions of dollars of federal funds are wasted through fraud, waste and abuse annually.  No agency is safe from fraud.  An agency’s internal controls are crucial to ensuring not only that the agency is compliant but that its property will be protected.  This session will cover a review of the property management requirements and the internal controls requirements under Part 200 of the Uniform Grants Guidance.  The presentation will review recent investigations and audits by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and provide practical advice on how agencies can prevent similar problems.
