Course Description – This webinar will cover the major shifts accomplished by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in contrast to the current iteration of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).  Top-line changes will include major programmatic shifts (for example, major changes the format of various Title IV funding streams) as well as policy shifts (including changes to English Learner provisions).  Attendees will understand the Congressional intent behind these changes, as well as how they are being carried out in regulation and policy by the U.S. Department of Education.
