ESSA Title II Allowability

Course DescriptionThe new Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) broadens out the allowability rules of Title II, A funds, which is now for Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High-Quality Teachers, Principals, or Other School Leaders.  This webinar will provide a thorough review of the changes under ESSA from its predecessor, the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). The webinar will discuss changes to the Title II, Part A formula as well as the State leadership set-aside and state and LEA-level administrative set-aside caps.  It will also review general allowability rules at both the state and LEA-level. The webinar will provide information related to the Teacher and School Leader incentive program (formerly the teacher incentive fund) under Title II,B.  Finally, the webinar will also provide advice on how to address any transition issues related to this area of the law.
