Course Description:

The U.S. Department of Education has now published final regulations for assessments and accountability systems under the new Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).  This webinar will walk attendees through the requirements for accountability systems under ESSA, including how State accountability systems must be designed and when States and districts must intervene in schools.  It will also cover requirements for assessments, limitations on alternate assessments, integrating assessment participation requirements into State accountability systems.  Attendees will also hear thoughts from Brustein experts on what these regulations – and federal education policy – will look like under the new administration.
